Burlington House Holy Family Chen Chu Han 1003943

This is the artwork that belong to Leonardo Da Vinci.
The Artwork name as Madonna and Child with St Anne and the Young St John 1507-08
It is Using Charcoal with white chalk heightening on paper, 141,5 x 106 cm
National Gallery, London.

From my opinion through this artwork,I can feel the harmony of a family.
I can feel that through the colors of the artwork. The color is more base on warm color.
Warm color can bring out harmony.Beside that,I also see the harmony of a family through their action.
The women in the artwork is hug a child and another child is rely on her.Another women is stand beside her.
Is that any relationship between the two women in the artwork and what is that?
We can straight focus on the center when we see the artwork in the first sight because they all had been placed in the same area. The finger of the one of the women is point up.I think that had some meaning about it.

The Virgin and Child with St Anne
and St John the Baptist, Leonardo da Vinci, c.1506-8,
charcoal, black and white chalk on tinted paper mounted on canvas,
141.5cm x 104.6cm,
National Gallery, London

The drawing describes the Virgin Mary seated on the knees of her mother St Anne and holding the Child Jesus while St. John the Baptist, the cousin of Jesus, stands to the right.

There are four characters in this artwork which is two women and two children. The leg of the woman on the left point to the left of the painting but her body slightly turn to the right side of the painting. The woman is hugging a child. She is having a lovely smile. The other woman's attention is focusing on her. She twisted her body to the left of the painting. Her left hand is pointing up. the two children seems like watching each other with adorable expression.

This painting gives me a warm feeling. They are hugging each other and blessing each other.

Once again another piece of homework by Dr. Ray =3
And once again i have to apologize for causing guys a bad eye sight by seeing my poor drawing.

Here a piece of artwork that drawn by leonardo da vinci. Artwork name Burlington House Holy Family.
As you can see the artwork consist of 4 peoples, two women and two children.

From the first sight, i feel that this artwork are drew beautifully. But when i zoom in to see clearly of the artwork. I found out that it actually look peaceful and warm. Somehow like family that having a chat time together.

But i found out the woman from the right side seems showing out her finger pointing upwards and in her eyes seems making people uncomfortable. The baby child hands like touching the boy face, i feel calm in watching his actions.

Therefore, overall of this artwork is warm family love to me. Just that i dont understand why is some part of it like haven't finish drawn by the artist.

Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci _ Ng Yi Ting 1107345

In the artwork of Vitruvian Man by Leonardo Da Vinci is quite interesting on the first sight. By looking the man figure in the center and surrounded with a square and circle are odd.

However when you start to really see this drawings within few minutes, you realise that his artwork is not meant for fun but there's always a reason behind his artwork.

In my opinion, the square around him means the perfect square that each normal human beings should have. The circle over him is that human arms and leg lengths is as equal with the surrounding.
Which means that the artist are trying to draw like this to figure out that humans have a right proportion.

p/s : sorry for the bad drawing >.<'

Leonardo da Vinci, "Burlington House" Holy Family, c1505-07

Not much research I see in the internet. So I write some opinions.

I not fell very comfortable for me in this paintings. Especially the second girl and fourth baby from your left hand side. In the original artwork, I see their face have a cold color that apply by the artist. I think this is the reason why I feel not comfortable.

A question that I doubt is the title is Burlington House but why the artist din't draw house. Or maybe this just a sketch. That is pretty nice holy family and I answer for their interaction is, the first and second baby is good but the second and fourth is something wrong. The first lady looks kindly. The second lady she is pointing her  left hand to top and her eyes is look at the first lady. As I see the two baby hug the second lady, I assume the first lady want baby but the second lady point her hand to top, she seem like means somethings.

Anyway, I hope my opinion din't insult anybody and I apologize if I did wrongly.

Vitruvian Man
This artwork is done by leonardo da  Vinci in circa 1487. The artwork now stored at Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, Italy.

Human proportions described by the artist with using circle and square.  The belongs to God and square means dependable.

In my opinion, the artworks meaning describe by the text which can see in the original artwork. According to the research, the text said that the human body are distributed by nature so on. All this describing the understanding of proportion. For the example, "the length of a man's outspread arms is equal to his height.' As we know the Leonardo daVinci is well in multiple fields. I am very admire his ability. I can see he did combine maths, science into the artwork. As now I just a graphic designer, I never think that I want to use math and science or others to create artwork. However, I inspired by Leodarno Da Vinci and I said that I want to explore more like him.

I am interest on Leonardo da Vinci Artwork so I did some others sketches.
