Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci Chen Chu Han 1003943

The artwork name is Vitruvian Man,draw by Leonardo Da Vinci on 1487 years.
This image exemplifies the blend of art and science during the Renaissance and provides the perfect example of Leonardo's more interest in proportion. In addition, this picture represents a cornerstone of Leonardo's attempts to relate man to nature.Leonardo envisaged the great picture chart of the human body he had produced through his anatomical drawings and Vitruvian Man as Cosmography of the microcosm. He believed the workings of the human body to be an analogy for the workings of the universe.

In my opinion, when Leonardo Da Vinci draw this artwork,he more focus in the proportion of the human figure. You can see that the human figure is draw in the square and circle line.
Leonardo Da Vinci drawing combines a careful reading of the ancient text with his own observation of actual human bodies. The circle and square he correctly observes that the square cannot have the same center as the circle the navel, but is somewhat lower in the anatomy.
He use his own way, feet and arm to show the proportion of the human figure.
He try to design the human figure into more nature so the human body placed in the central point is naturally the navel. The head and face is the best part to show that he try to make the human more nature.
There is harmony in the symmetrical relations of the different parts to the general magnitude of the whole.
Then in the human body the central point is naturally the navel.
The multiple viewpoint that set in with Romanticism has convinced us that there is no such thing as a universal set of proportions for the human body.Vitruvius statements may be interpreted as statements about average proportions.
